I’ve always been really curious about life and its meaning. Always craving for documentaries and good books, I was slowly building an understanding around general subjects as economy, politics, history, geography civilization, religion…. A good example of a book covering what I was searching for was “Gun Germs and Steel” from Jared Diamond.
I recently found an answer to most of my questions, the one I’ve always been asking for and that concern all of us as human beings: Who are we, where do we come from, what are we doing here, what is life and death etc ? Surprisingly, I never thought of looking where the answer would come from before: spirituality.
Difference between religion and spirituality
Religion is an institution: it has specific ideas on life and nature. But when these ideas crystalize themselves, they create dogmas (the function of an institution is to perpetuate itself. If it reaches its goal, it loses its necessity. In a way, the age of a religion tells about its efficiency!).
Spirituality is an experience: it invites us to notice our own experience that would then become our authority. It is interesting to note that spirituality and science are really one same thing, only their point of view differ. One is looking from outside whereas the other looks from inside. With the evolvement of physics and the new discoveries of quantum physics (black matter, other realities, duality…) we are now seeing we mystics have known for ages.
Having a spiritual life, yes but what for?
To chasse away ignorance and find the delicate balance of peace and harmony.
10 mistakes that create crises, violence and war
5 major misunderstandings concerning life:
1) Humans are separated from each other.
2) What we need to be happy is not available in enough quantity.
3) To get it, we have to concurrence ourselves.
4) Some of us are better than others.
5) We can solve, by killing ourselves, the main differences created by all the other misunderstandings.
5 major misunderstandings concerning god:
1) God needs something
2) God can’t obtain what he needs
3) God separated us from himself because we didn’t match his requirements.
4) We believe that God still has major needs, that he orders us to match his requirements.
5) God will destroy us if we don’t match his requirements.
So you might tell me, on your westerner point of view (mystic skeptical with atheist trends), why so many references to God?
Let’s come back a little and explain the inner mechanisms of life:
Here are the 3 pillars of Evolution and our relative human adaptation:
1 – Efficiency ——> Morals
2 – Adaptability ———-> Justice
3 – Durability ———–> Property
1 – Morals
Our acts depend upon our morals. We copy our behavior onto what we withdraw from it: what’s good and bad (good and bad doesn’t exist; there is only what works or not depending on what we want to do, be or have). But our moral is wrong. It changes constantly with our evolution because it is based on wrong beliefs. Nowadays, the beliefs that support our society serve only the body: survival/food/security/pleasure.
Beliefs —>moral —> good/bad —-> reactions/behavior
2 – Justice
Our justice is as well arbitrary and comes from our perception of good and evil:
Beliefs —>moral —> good/bad —-> justice
3 – Property
It is our answer to the second misunderstandings of life (What we need to be happy is not available in sufficient quantity).
It is a vein tentative to bring an eternal feeling in a physical world that is ruled by the law of impermanence. Nobody owns anything ever. Things can be in our possession but we don’t own them.
Here are 5 steps to reach peace and harmony:
1) Accept that some of our old beliefs of God and Life are not valid.
2) Accept that we don’t understand some aspects of God and Life and that its understanding would change it all.
3) Create a new vision of God and Life that could create a new lifestyle in our planet.
4) Explore and develop that new vision and, if it matches our new truth and our inner wisdom, abroad our belief system to make more room for it.
5) Demonstrate, through our life, our highest beliefs instead of denying it.
Finally, here are 9 new revelations of God and Life, that are in reality THE SAME THING:
1) God never stopped to communicate directly with humans. From the very beginning, it has communicated with and through them. It still does it.
2) Every humans being are as exceptional as any one that lived, is living and will live one day. You are all messengers. Every single of you has a message to delivers about life, every day, every hour or instant.
3) No way is leading to God is more directly than other ones. No religions are THE one. No people are the more holy and no prophet is the highest.
4) God doesn’t need anything. God doesn’t ask for anything to be happy. God is happiness.
5) God is not a super singular being living in some part of the universe having the same emotional needs that humans. What is God cannot be disturbed and doesn’t need revenge and punishment.
6) Everything is one same thing. There is only one same thing and everything is part of the only thing that ever existed.
7) Good and bad doesn’t exist; there is only what works or not depending on what we want to do, be or have.
8) You are not your body. You are limitless and endless.
9) You can’t die and will never be damned to eternal damnation.
Don’t try first to change the world. You will change the world by first changing yourself…
